The 83rd Anglo-American Conference of Historians have accepted our panel for their conference on July 3rd and 4th at The Institute of Historical Research at Senate House in London. The theme is: ‘The Great War at Home’. Mount School historians will be presenting with academics from Leeds University. Our theme is: ‘Making a Stand against the War: Conscientious Objectors and War Resisters in local and international perspective’. Our contribution to the panel will present work by Mount students to consider conscientious objection in the culture of Europe at the time of the First World War and today. This is a great mixture of history and global thinking work. We are very excited!
