Parents and guardians of girls in Years 7-9 – reflection on progress

Over the next few weeks we will be asking girls to reflect upon how they are progressing in History. We will be asking girls to complete a one-sided reflection sheet as part of prep work. By doing the reflection this way, we hope to allow girls greater thinking and reflection time. It also allows for the possibility of working through the reflection with you; and we would very much like to encourage these discussions. We will be taking a copy of the girls’ reflections to help us with our planning. If you have anything you would like to feed back to us directly at this stage, please E-mail us via hsnelson@mountschoolyork.co.uk. You will find a copy of the reflection sheet attached to the KS3 Matters page of this blog.

  1. The Reflective Log – Wonderful idea! Reflection is a wonderful tool for the children to consider what they need to do more of and where there are gaps to be filled. Love the whole blog by the way! I enjoy reading the posts. Parent in S7.
